Most customers can get all the information they need from our collection of FireKing Safes. However, often we find it convenient to download a print catalog to fantasize about our selections or to leave the catalog around the house to drop gentle hints on what we want for the season.
FireKing Safes Warranty Policy
If a mechanical or operable part of a FireKing safe malfunctions or breaks down during normal use, FireKing International will at our option, repair or replace said part free for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.
Warranty excludes customer neglect or abuse, robbery attempt, burglary, vandalism or other criminal conduct, environmental factors (such as fire, water damage, wind), acts of God, lightning or power spikes or surges or modifications not made by FireKing.
Any failure resulting in the use of unapproved lubricants, cleaning liquids or solvents and/or liquid spills are not covered under warranty. Failure resulting in the relocation of equipment by non FireKing technicians is not covered under warranty.

General FAQs
Are all FireKing files impact tested?
Answer:
FireKing files carry Underwriters' Laboratories 1-hour fire and impact rating. To earn the the UL Impact rating a fully loaded file cabinet is heated to 1550 degrees Fahrenheit for one-half hour and then dropped 30 feet onto a bed of rubble. It is then placed back in the oven at 1550 degrees for another 30 minutes. The contents must survive this test to earn the rating.
Are the filing cabinets waterproof?
Answer:
No. FireKing Classic Commercial Files have passed the ETL water resistant test. All FireKing files are designed to be water resistant against fire hose and sprinkler systems after the insulated product is exposed to heat.
Are these products really fireproof?
Answer:
No product on the market is totally fire proof. The actual UL classification is for fire resistance based on the product’s tested and proven ability to resist fires of specific temperatures and lengths. These tests are based on the types and duration of fires experienced by the vast majority of businesses.
